CORPORATE OVERVIEW

Oro Silver Resources Ltd. was founded in February 2007 to explore and develop advanced stage silver projects located in the western hemisphere. The company’s goal is to become a mid-tier silver producer through an aggressive acquisition and development plan, focused on projects with known silver resources exhibiting potential for expansion.

CORPORATE HIGHLIGHTS

Oro Silver’s strategy is rooted in the principles of mine-site exploration and optimization. The company seeks to create value in two ways: (1) by expanding known silver resources through a systematic exploration and development plan, and (2) by optimizing production processes, thereby increasing recovery rates and maximizing return on investment.  Zacatecas is one of the largest historic silver districts in the world with past production estimated at 4.0 billion ounces (Consejo de Recorso Mineral, Mexico - 1991)

Highlights from the El Compas Project which include the El Compas and El Orito veins are:

  • 5.3 g/t gold and  276.0 g/t silver over 4.7 metres in 08COM028
  • 193.2 g/t gold and 1,263.9 g/t silver over 4.28 metres (true width) in 09COM043 approximately 50 metres below the El Compas mine portal, and is the highest grade drill intercept reported to date.
  • 4.7 g/t gold and 48.6 g/t silver over 2.44 metres (true width) in 09COM044 approximately 90 metres below surface
  • 13.3 g/t gold and 147.5 g/t silver over true width of 2.2 metres in hole 08COM014
  • 5.2 g/t gold and 87.7 g/t silver over true width 5.3 metres in drill hole 09COM046
  • 15.2 g/t gold and 242.0 g/t silver over 2.6 metres, and 18.3 g/t gold and 426.9 g/t silver over 0.5 metres in 09COM046
  • 19.95 g/t gold and 168.1 g/t silver over 5.85 metres in 09COM048
  • 7.37 g/t gold and 80.1 g/t silver over 0.38 metres in 09COM052
